Lungau Big Band featuring Randy Brecker

On year after our very successful tour with this great trumpet player he will join us again for four concerts in Austria and Germany. He will bring a lot of the great music he wrote during the past 30 years.

JAZZORCHESTER VORARLBERG - NEW CD + TOUR

In August we recorded our first CD and are very proud and happy with the result. All the music was composed and arranged by the fantastic Phil Yaeger. In September we started the first part of our Release Tour with concerts in Berlin (B-Flat), Lustenau (Freudenhaus) and Vienna (Porgy&Bess).

Check out the new CD here.

Archipelago Project EURO Tour 2010 (June)

In June the Archipelago Project will meet again for their Tour in Innsbruck. We will have several Schools to come to the big Conervatory hall to see our schoolshows. We also travel a lot through Tirol and Vorarlberg to work with some School Bands and Orchestras.

OENM - Aspekte

At the end of May I will join the OENM for a concert at the Aspekte Festival in Salzburg.

TROMMARELLI Concerts

This Year I created a new ensemble. I put together my Trombone Quartet Tromonica with 3 wonderful singers and a percussion player. With this group we had our first concert on the 1. May. It was an open air concert on the Residenzplatz in the middle of Salzburg. Perfect weather and a very big and excited audience were a good challenge for us to play our new songs which are all arranged by the band, mostely be myself.
Take a look at the dates to join us for our next shows.

Archipelago Residency in Detroit

For about one week we worked with the Birkshire Middleschool band kids in Birmingham. The residency was very intense work on their pieces and also showing them new things like creating their own music based on a bassline and a meldoy.
Also the 2 Archipelago Concerts (one of them including 150 students!!!!!) were very successful and proved the imprtance of music and arts in school and helped the band program not being cut from the educational system in Birkshire.
